About Mangalore

Mangaluru (Mangalore), often referred to as the Gateway to Karnataka, derives its name from the Goddess Mangaladevi. Widely known as Mangalore, ‘Kudla’ in Tulu, ‘Kodial’ in Konkani, ‘Maikala’ in Beary Bashe, and ‘Mangalapuram’ in Malayalam, this vibrant city is a melting pot diverse cultures and languages.
